Welcome to Opal City: known for free mining, endless desert and, to a select few, vampires. This remote desert mining town is the last colonial stronghold for vampires and when the King Vampire arrives with plans to take over the land and kidnap locals for their blood, it's up to two Aboriginal renegades, Tyson and Shanika, to stop him and end the 230 year war. But how can a reckless 'semi alcoholic' and a teenaged orphan destroy an entire vampire colony when legions of warriors before them have failed? This is a story of modern day colonization.
